Cynergy Third Annual Summer Bash, which was held in August at Augusta’s Bicentennial Park, was a great success.  For those of you who missed out on the fun, we thought we’d share a few highlights of the day’s activities. Over fifty adults and children attended the event which included a BBQ, swimming on Three Cornered Pond, lots of socializing and networking, and some games including ladder toss and football.

There were many new faces at this event including several friends and children of Cynergy members.  We also welcomed a few special guests including City of Augusta Council member Patrick Paradis and the Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development for the State of Maine, John Richardson.

At the end of the evening, we toasted some marshmallows and made smores and gave away some great prizes.  We held the drawing for the Old Town Rush Kayak that we were raffling off and also gave away several door prizes that were donated by sponsors.

We also had some great entertainment at this year’s summer bash.  The Little Easy Band joined us at five and gave us a phenomenal three hour performance in the park.  They played a myriad of great cover tunes that were all received very well.  We hope to see them playing at future Cynergy events. 

For those of you who couldn’t make it to the summer bash, you really missed a great time.  And for everyone who was able to join in on the fun, we had a great time grilling and getting outside with a great group of capital area young people.  We look forward to seeing everyone at one of our upcoming events so please check our calendar.  We hope to see you all there!
